Pretty much describing my upstairs neighbours.... they have been renovating their apartment for the past 1,5 years, making unbearable noises even on Sunday! I just wonder what the hell takes so long in renovating a 45m² apartment.... I mean seriously... in my hometown people build up an entire house in that period of time but revenge comes when i am working from home in nightshift, whenever i take a smoke break and i go down, i make sure to ring their doorbell at 12am, 2am, 4am and at 6am when my shift ends... if i can't sleep during nightshifts then they won't either. Ohh and when they are not renovating, then they fucking relocate the furnitures like each days....

My upstairs neighbor doesnt stop moving from 530am to 1030pm. I swear he/she never leaves. My blood pressure is so high when Im home. Next place will be on top floor. Never again.

I used to live on a first floor with a gorilla stampeding at all hours of the day and night upstairs, so I moved into another unit into the same building but upstairs. I made it my mission to walk as lightly as possible (wearing socks and dragging my feet across the floor) and the downstairs neighbors is thanking me by blasting his subwoofer at 2 in the morning and slamming his cabinet doors whenever possible. Seems I can't just win in this life.

Wow. Its time we all got together and demand proper sound proofing insulation between floors and walls is mandatory LAW. Read a ton of complaints, me too, but its the building code law that is to blame. Not neighbours. I loved my landlords upstairs but there was no sound insulation between my bedroom and their kitchen. Eventually had to move. Eventually learned top floor apartment only and keep reminding building management when there's an odor or noise problem. You're entitled to peaceful quiet enjoyment of premises.

No apartment should allow children to live above. I have a family of six 2 parents and 4 kids in a 3 bedroom apartment. 2 boys ages 8 to 10 2 girls 5 and 15! Not to mention the parents bedroom is right above mine with a squeaky bed! The boys jump off their beds the 5 year old runs up and down the hallway! How rude can you be not to teach your children respect! I might move out if I can file enough noise complaints!

There are far too many inconsiderate upstair neighbours who also tend to be pathological liars too! I'm going to ask the doc if the problem is with me cos the past few neighbours always drop things on the carpeted floor which gives me a fright cos it's out of the blue. This is precious, the latest upstairs neighbour had a stroke so the housing association put him above me!
